Eight IT is a technology consultancy. This policy explains what information we collect when you use eightit.com and how we use it.
Information you give us
When you submit the contact form on this site, we collect your name, email address, and the message you write. We use this information to respond to your inquiry. We don't share it with third parties or add you to marketing lists.
Remote management software
If you're an Eight IT client and you've installed our remote management agent, that software connects your device to our management platform for the purpose of providing IT support. Its use is governed by your service agreement with Eight IT.
Information collected automatically
We don't use analytics software or tracking cookies on this site.
Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes web requests as part of delivering the site. Cloudflare may log request metadata such as IP addresses as part of their standard infrastructure operation. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for details. Hosting is unavoidable for visiting this site.
The site uses a privacy notice on first visit that gates two third-party loads behind your consent:
- Google Fonts — the Inter typeface. If accepted, your browser requests font files from Google, transmitting your IP address. If declined, the site uses your operating system's default fonts and no Google request is made. See Google's privacy policy for details.
- Cloudflare Turnstile — anti-spam protection on contact forms. If accepted, the contact form is functional. If declined, the form is disabled and you can email us directly instead.
Your choice is stored locally in your browser. To change it, clear this site's storage in your browser settings.
Data retention
Contact form submissions are retained only as long as needed to respond to your inquiry.
